Viewing Google Analytics stats

An easy way to view Google Analytics stats is with using a Google Analytics Dashboard plugin.
For instance

The plugin Google Analytics by Yoast

After having installed the plugin and going to Analytics -> Dashboard -> Overview the plugin will tell you to authenticate with Google Analytics. Click the link and go through the process of connecting the Analytics tracking code to Google Analytics by Yoast plugin.

The short overview of the authentication process:
Accept that Google Analytics by Yoast will connect with your Google Analytics Data.
Copy the code.
Paste the Google code into the plugin authentication code box.

When that is done it will jump to the following screen.
Analytics
Settings -> General

Select your profile. (It says in Norwegian here translated: All your web site data)
Allow tracking of anonymous data: Turn this on so that Yoast can track how you use the plugin.
In ignore users: It is probably a good idea to add Administrator to the list. (I really do not know why it is not already included.)
